American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 2–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (980) 248-1738. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 174 reviews, which is a strong result for an ice cream shop in Concord and suggests consistent service.

Concord is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Concord follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My friend and I visited this establishment after dinner. The lady working was very polite and kind, she did a wonderful job explaining the products they sold, as it was our first time visiting. We got the β€œrocky road” rolled ice cream. As we were waiting for our ice cream, (which didn’t take long, compared to other reviews I’ve read) we noticed the furniture inside was very dirty and the cover for the small pink couch was falling off , revealing the yellow foam pad underneath. There was also a strange old man in the corner using what looked like a gambling slot machine. I don’t think this is a great environment for a child, when the seating is dirty, and there are men watching the children inside. The ice cream was great, but it was definitely over priced for what we got. We could have gone across the street to the QT and gotten a larger serving for much less. Overall, the experience was nice, but I don’t think I’ll be returning.

The first time I visited, I had a great experience. While I did think the price was a bit high for the amount of ice cream you receive, the quality made it worth trying again. Unfortunately, my second visit was disappointing. I ordered the same item as beforeβ€”the brownie rolled ice creamβ€”but it wasn't prepared the same way. During my first visit, the brownie was mixed into the ice cream. This time, it was simply placed on the side of the cup. There was also far too much whipped cream in the center and not nearly enough ice cream. The cup even felt noticeably lighter when it was handed to me, and it became clear whyβ€”it was filled with whipped topping instead of ice cream. For the price, I expected much better consistency and value. I definitely didn't feel like I got my money's worth this time. Unfortunately, because of this I won't be returning. I get more ice cream for less money at Handel's in Cornelius and Two Scoops on Union Street in Concord.

The ONLY reason this is getting 2 stars is because my family enjoyed their ice creams. But for me I paid $9 for 2 scoops of ice cream and it was basically all crushed waffle chips , some whole ones, NO sprinkles, no fruit as advertised, and a corner squirt of chocolate syrup. Looked so convincing online . Skeptical of returning or referring anyone!

Stopped in here after my birthday pedicure, the ice cream was so good, service was excellent, the young lady (who looks like a model) was serving by herself, she hooked us up right away and was so polite. Definitely visit this quaint, laid back spot. There's old school arcade machines and a place for small children to play. We came in mid afternoon so it was nice music playing, very relaxing and a perfect day for ice cream.

I’m afraid we have become regulars at this spot because everything is SO delicious! Hands down THEE best ice cream in the greater Charlotte area! So many options! They have regular ice cream, waffles, boba, ICE CREAM NACHOS, and my personal fave…ROLLED ICE CREAM!!! The ingredients are top quality so the ice cream tastes really fresh! There are mostly teens that work here and surprisingly they are super nice and professional. There was some miserable lady complaining about her boba and trying to tell the actual employee how she should have made it, very rude and bitter lady. The employee was very kind to her anyway. Amazing ice cream and great service!
